Head Coach

Kyle McCreary

Coach McCreary is from Fayetteville, Ga. He graduated from and played baseball/football at Starr’s Mill High School. Coach McCreary played baseball at the University of Michigan and was a part of the 2006 Big Ten Championship team. He also played baseball at Jacksonville State University where he was a part of the 2007 and 2008 Ohio Valley Conference Championship Teams. He was an NCAA freshman All-American and was named to the OVC all-conference team in 2007. He has been coaching baseball for 12 years. He coached at Whitewater High School for 3 years and has been coaching at Ola High School for 9 years now. Coach graduated from Jacksonville State University and most recently completed his Master at Western Governors University.

Coaching Accolades

Coach has been a part of 3 State-runner up teams. 2 at Whitewater and 1 at Ola. Has received the Region Assistant Coach of the Year award 3 times. Once in 2012 at Whitewater, and was named the Region 4-AAAAA Assistant Coach of the Year in 2019 and 2021.

Family

Coach has been married to his wife Chelsea for 7 years. Chelsea is also a teacher and coach at Ola High School. She coaches Competition Cheerleading and Gymnastics. He has 2 kids. Harper (6) and Mitzi (4). Mother (Rhonda) is a retired Math teacher. She taught for 31 years in Fayette County. Father (Amos) is the Head Football Coach at Harlan County High School, in Harlan, Kentucky. He was a Head Football Coach in the State of Georgia for 23 years prior.
